To assign the project, first we have to know what the definition of the project is. A project is a temporary set of activities or initiatives to meet the creation of a unique product or service. Thus, activities that are undertaken to accomplish routine activities cannot be considered projects. Strategic Project or Strategic Initiatives is a project that is designed to help the organization achieve Strategic Objectives and have significant organization wide impact.
There are 4 criteria of the project, such as :
Unique, never been done before, newly initiated
To give more than our routine responsibility
Need extra effort to meet the timeline or deadline
Has consistent valuable impact in the future
Also, the objectives of the project are :
Give added value (time, cost, quality)
Strengthen Safety (for Energy Business)
Efficiency & Effective
Incease Productivity
